New publication! In our recent article "Thermal boundary condition studies in large aspect ratio Rayleigh-Bénard convection" published in the European Journal of Mechanics - B/Fluids and written in collaboration with our colleagues from the Fluid Mechanics group, we discuss the influence of the thermal boundary conditions on the structure size and heat transfer in large aspect ratio Rayleigh-Bénard convection. The joint analysis of experimental and numerical data backed up with theoretical observations at the onset of convection unveiled the importance of the thermal boundary conditions on the size of the turbulent superstructures as well as on the heat transfer. The article is freely available to anyone!
