HCI International is one of the 20 most important academic conferences on HCI and took place in hybrid form from June 29 to July 4, 2024 in Washington, D.C. On its 40th anniversary, the conference offered 2206 registered participants from 69 countries the opportunity to discuss current topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, user interface design and cognitive ergonomics in 290 parallel sessions.

The next HCI International will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 22 to 27, 2025.
