The Technische Universität Ilmenau invites all students and graduates of mathematics degree programs to StuKon24 in Ilmenau from October 7 to 9. The student conference of the German Mathematical Society is the only forum in the German-speaking world where students and highly qualified graduates from all over Germany come together to present their theses, find out about career opportunities and network with each other as young scientists.

StuKon consists of three components: plenary lectures by internationally renowned mathematicians on current topics in mathematics such as machine learning for weather simulations; interactive workshopswith renowned companies on career orientation as mathematicians; presentations by graduates on their final theses, followed by prizes for the best presentations, for example a one-week stay at the renowned Mathematical Research Institute Oberwolfach.
