Delegation from TU Ilmenau visits ARRI Headquarters in Munich

Students and staff visited ARRI's Munich headquarters on July 11th, exploring its rich history, state-of-the-art production facilities, and innovative studio technologies.
 
On Thursday, July 11th, an invited delegation from TU Ilmenau headed by Prof. Alexander Raake visited the ARRI headquarters in Munich, where they were introduced to the company's history and its evolution since 1917. The students and scientific as well as technical staff explored the state-of-the-art camera production, assembly, and calibration systems. They toured the ARRI Museum, learning about the evolution of ARRI's cameras and studio lighting solutions, and experienced ARRI's cutting-edge, sustainable studio production technologies. The students were also able to try out the cameras and lighting technology for themselves, giving them a basic insight into the operation and creative possibilities.
