On May 14, Dr. habil Christina Schumann was awarded the Vendia Legendi by Dean Prof. Dr. habil. Michael Grüning. The Venia Legendi, also known as a teaching license, is the right to independently offer courses in a specific subject area at a university or college. The Venia Legendi is awarded after a successful habilitation, in which a scientist must demonstrate excellent professional competence and research performance. Christina Schumann is now entitled to use the title "Privatdozentin".
