Successful completion of Mira Rochyadi-Reetz's doctoral studies

On April 9, Mira Rochyadi-Reetz from the Department of Empirical Media Research and Political Communication (EMPK) defended her doctoral thesis on frame-building on climate change in Indonesia. She investigated how the process of frame-building on climate change takes place in Indonesia. First, she conducted a quantitative content analysisof media articles and press releases from various political actors on climate change. She then interviewed journalists, PR officers, campaign managers and climate scientists in Indonesia to identify the process of frame-building and the factors that influence this process. She published the results of her dissertation in 4 journals and two book chapters. The full list of publications can be viewed here. We congratulate Mira on her PhD and wish her every success with the sustainability communication projects of Klima-N that she is now working on at EMPK.
