Artificial Intelligence and Sex Research

Prof. Döring presents at IASR Meeting 2024

The annual meeting of the International Association of Sex Research (IASR) will take place in Berlin from July 22 to 25, 2024. Prof. Döring from the Media Psychology and Media Design Group at TU Ilmenau will present the current state of research on artificial intelligence and sexuality in her invited keynote speech. It is about AI-generated sexual information, AI-supported sexual counseling, AI-supported sexual intimacy and AI-generated pornography.

Research

Complex scientific questions and problems can often not be solved from the perspective of a single science alone. Interdisciplinarity, i.e. interdisciplinary cooperation, is therefore of great importance. Both inter-department cooperation at the TU Ilmenau and beyond its borders bundle competences and are an indispensable part of research at the IfMK.
