Andreas Mohr receives an award from the gfo - Gesellschaft für Organisation e.V. for his master's thesis in the field of management/organization.

Together with its sister organizations the Swiss Society for Organization (SGO) and the Austrian Association for Organization (ÖVO), the gfo sees itself as a leading expert network of academics and practitioners in the field of organization and process management in German-speaking countries.

In the final round of the gfo-Student Award, 8 master theses were reviewed by a jury of experts. The theses come from all over Germany, from 6 universities and 2 colleges. In the field of applicants, which the jury judged to be of very high quality overall, Mr. Mohr's thesis achieved 2nd place.

The topic "Organizational Identity" was the focus of his master thesis. In particular, he looked at the effects of structural change on the essence of the organization within an individual case study. The qualitative analysis of extensive interview data revealed that organizational and personnel measures, even in the short period under investigation, are capable of changing the identity of the organization at various levels.

The award ceremony will take place on Nov. 13, 2019, at the gfo Annual Congress on Organization in Düsseldorf. At this event, the jury's work and evaluation results will also be presented and the winner of the audience award will be determined.

The entire Management/Organization Group would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Mohr in particular, but also all other award winners, very warmly on the excellent result.
