The 60th Hohenheim Advanced Seminar took place at the Philipps University of Marburg from 16. 05. to 18. 05. 24. Before the seminar began, however, one of its long-standing members, Prof. Wolfgang Kerber, was bid farewell as he is retiring at the end of the summer semester. The "Law and Economics of Digitization" department was also present at the subsequent seminar and was able to receive stimulating comments and inspiration for the respective papers.
Lukas Breide presented the draft of a new paper on "Innovation Effects in Merger Control - An Overview", which was corrected by Prof. Martina Eckardt (Andrássy University Budapest). In addition, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Juliane Mendelsohn and Macarena Viertel (Freie Universität Berlin) presented the paper "Financial Power in Competition Policy and as a Key Component of Modern Bigness", which was corrected by Thomas Schäfer (Bauhaus-Universität Weimar). In addition, Lukas Breide gave a co-presentation on the paper by Thomas Schäfer (Bauhaus-Universität Weimar) entitled "Central Coordination of Satellites as an Example of a Martian System of Order".
