Manufacturing of magnetic layers using an inductively coupled high frequency plasma (ICP) and their characterization. - In: Proceedings of the XVI International Conference on Gas Dscharges and their Applications, (2006), S. 485-488

The creation of thin magnetisable layers on a paramagnetic ground material plays an increasing role in the development of new materials for technological applications. Magnetic layers in the thickness range of 20 æm up to 1000 æm with a high energy density are demanded. The thermal spray technologie offers an alternative to produce high quality magnetic layers with the required thickness. By the means of Inductively Coupled High Frequency (IPC) it partially suceeds to avoid the disadvantages of the established procedures. Subject of the presented work is the thermal spraying of magnetisable Boron-Iron-Neodymium - layers by using the ICP technology.
